The first Sunday in April, 2025 Stratford’s swans were released from their winter quarters and paraded to Lake Victoria.
We celebrated the 2025 Swan Weekend at 172 Ballantyne.

We celebrated the 2025 Swan Weekend at 172 Ballantyne.
People came from near and far to watch our swans parade to the lake.
The Stratford Police Band led the swans down Morenz Drive and along Lakeside Drive to the waters of Lake Victoria.
On April 7, 2024 many people ... so many cameras — so many people ... joined us to watch the birds return to the Lake Victoria.
The 2024 flock consisted of about a dozen birds. The Stratford Police Band led the swans down Morenz Drive and along Lakeside Drive to the water.
In 2023 The City of Stratford didn't announce a Swan Parade so not many out-of-towners showed up; however, locals went to the water to watch our birds return to the river after spending winter in the barn behind the William Allman Arena.
Our flock was down to about nine swans due to bird flu. The Stratford Police Band was there to lead the short route along Morenz Drive to the water.
